It's a fine game, but I feel like I'm getting absolutely swamped with modifier cards and never seeing room cards. Like, 8 turns without seeing a new room card.
I have actually softlocked now because my hand is Destroy, Destroy, Rave, Rave. I cannot destroy a room because the one room I have already has an event. I cannot place a rave because it is already at 10 weight.
Nice game. It might be more interesting with fewer modifier cards (especially cancel event) and more buildings, or some way to discard cards. My hand was basically full of modifiers, sometimes with cards that, in the situation, would have certainly lead to losing, if used.
This is a very neat card game! Using an actual teeter-totter scale to represent success is much more fun than just a scoreboard and makes the whole game feel more tactile and tense. Thanks for sharing this!
This was really fun. I like how you have to balance risk and reward by purposefully trying to tilt the town to earn more stars. I think that the "cancel event" cards are a bit too common and end up filling most of my hand because I have no events I can cancel. Overall, fantastic game!

Not sure how your meant to play but seems balancing one building on a side with 10 points and leaving it like that is optimal stratagem.

same
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback!
That’s true, unfortunately I didn’t have time to add more cards, which would have helped with the softlocking issue.
yeah the randomization might be not working well
